A once unconventional practice becomes an industry norm
The business environment surrounding the pachinko industry has changed significantly, putting us in a state of chaos. Such drastic change has made it impossible for us to continue business in a traditional manner and if we were to do so, we would not be able to survive.
We have always taken the time of change in the business environment as an opportunity to create a new style of pachinko business. For example, we were the first to introduce the low-rate ball lending system (“Nikopachi”) that defies the common wisdom of the industry. Our aim was to raise the alarm on the tendency of the pachinko business to raise the per-customer ball rent fees, which resulted in the extremely high gambling level of pachinko. As a result, we decided to introduce a new style of pachinko for leisure where people can play for a low price. The low-rate ball lending system has since become an industry norm. This is a very good example that something unthinkable before has become an accepted business practice.
We have always been the first to venture these attempts. Although we may appear too radical, we are proud of being a maverick in the industry.
We are determined to continue our revolutionary efforts to make our customers happier and brighten the future.
